A lien is defined as a claim, encumbrance, or charge on property for payment of some debt, obligation or duty.  GBLS can protect your interest in Ontario, Canada by registering liens under the following acts:

1. Construction Lien Act (CLA):
Liens registered under the CLA, protect your interest in real property and is registered by parties who have done work or performed a service on the property.

2. Property and Personal Security Act (PPSA):
Liens registered under the PPSA, protect your interest in personal property by providing notice to the public.

3. Repair and Storage Liens Act (RSLA):
Liens registered under the RSLA protect your interest in personal property and is registered by parties who have repaired and/or stored items of personal property.
